Are you a medical provider?

Jeanine Jones is a Certified Nurse Midwife, so she is a licensed clinician. In this work she is not acting as yours. MamaBirthTribe provides education and advocacy support, not clinical care, and buying a program, reading this site or talking to the assistant does not create a provider and patient relationship. Anything clinical belongs with the provider managing your pregnancy.

Do you work with families outside my state?

Yes. We work with families across the United States. What we teach, meaning how to evaluate options, how to ask questions, what warning signs mean and how to prepare for recovery, applies everywhere. What differs by state is licensure, insurance and what is locally available, so instead of guessing on your behalf we teach you exactly how to verify those things where you live, and we build your plan around what you find.

Why not just tell me which birth setting is best?

Because there is not one. The right setting depends on your health, your risk profile, what is actually reachable from where you live, what your insurance covers and what you value. Anyone who gives you a universal answer to that question is selling you their preference. We give you the trade offs and you decide.

Question 4

What if I am high risk?

Then this matters more, not less. Some settings may not be appropriate for you, and we will say so. But understanding your options within the system you are working in, knowing what questions to ask and being able to advocate for yourself are exactly the skills that high risk pregnancies demand most.

Is the chat assistant a real person?

Accepted Answer

No. It is an AI assistant built on the work of a birth educator. It answers common questions and points you to the right resource. It is not a person, not a clinician and not a substitute for medical advice. Anything clinical goes to your provider.

How do I buy a program, and what happens next?

Pick a program and click the price. You pay through Stripe on a single page. Self paced programs unlock immediately. The private consult takes you straight to a booking calendar. Cohort and membership get a welcome email within one business day.

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Digital products are nonrefundable once accessed. Private consults and cohorts can be cancelled up to 48 hours before your session for a full refund, and if you go into labor before your session we will always reschedule or refund. Membership can be cancelled anytime and stops at the end of the current month.

What insurance do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We do not bill insurance directly. Some offerings may be reimbursable through an HSA or FSA depending on your plan, so check with your administrator before assuming. We provide itemized receipts for your records.

Is it too late for this if I am already in my third trimester?

Accepted Answer

No. Some choices narrow late in pregnancy, but the ones that matter most on the day, meaning how you communicate, what you consent to, what you know about warning signs and how prepared your recovery is, are all still fully open to you.

My partner thinks this is unnecessary. What do I tell them?

Show them the numbers on this page. More than half of pregnancy related deaths in the US happen after the birth, in the window when partners are usually the only ones watching. Preparation is not anxiety. It is the person next to you knowing what to look for and being willing to make the call.
